I am—allegedly—a writer, photographer, musician, and huge dweeb, but I aspire to one day transcend time and space to become metaphysical. In the meantime, I’m either a Renaissance man or a Jack of all trades, depending on how you look at it. I like piña coladas, getting lost in the rain, and writing obtuse bios.

I’m a graduate of the Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University, and my writing has been published in their emerge 19 anthology and on Thought Catalog. I’ve read my work aloud at the Writer’s Studio Reading Series and the Vancouver Writer’s Festival. I like to keep my writing practice as broad as possible, but I tend to focus most on poetry, memoir, and YA fiction.

When I’m not writing, I’m working as a freelance portrait photographer, working with individuals, businesses, and musicians. I even dabble in videography. As a lyricist and vocalist myself, under the name Sadhype (check me out on Spotify here), I particularly love creating visual imagery with other musicians.

I try to combine my many interests into a social media presence that is both engaging and visually appealing. This website serves mostly as a landing page for whatever’s going on in my brain at the moment, but it’s also just, like, supes profesh to have your own site, you know?
